Tipton County Angel Gown Project
This endeavor gives brides and families the opportunity to gift a dress that has special meaning in their lives, and give it an entirely new and special meaning to a family that has just experienced the tragic loss of their young child; especially those born prematurely in which clothing options are extremely difficult to find.
-All gowns are accepted; bridal, prom, special occasion dresses… Any color… new or vintage. Even stained or torn gowns may be used. The lining, buttons, pearls and appliqués all can be put to use.
-Also accepts fine table linens/napkins
Remembering Kevin’s Light
Remembering Kevin’s Light is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in west Tennessee. We provide recreational and sports items to disadvantaged youth and those affected negatively by drugs and alcohol, while also raising awareness and education about substance use disorder.
-donations of gently used equipment, (all sports equipment including cleats, baseball and football pants, dance shoes and dance clothing, recreational items, bikes, fishing and camping supplies) which we then pass along to kids and organizations in need are accepted and appreciated.

901 POP (Petals of Purpose)
–An organization for volunteers to repurpose flowers as a way to share joy.
Items they collect- vases, stationery, and post-event flowers
–Founded by a woman in recovery wanting to reach out & help recovering woman on a larger scale. When you heal a sick tree, you don’t replant that healthy tree in the old, diseased soil. Likewise, for women trying to recover from addiction & alcoholism. We want a safe community for women who are trying to change their lives & the lives of generations to come.
-Accepting gently used items you currently have reflective of needs. We have a current inventory list on our website.
The Friends of the Germantown Library are please to accept the following:
- Fiction and non-fiction books
- DVD and CD (original only – no copies accepted)
- Cassettes and videos (original only – no copies accepted)
- Textbooks (up to three (3) years old)
Habitat for Humanity ReStore
The ReStore sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, building supplies and housewares at discount prices. The Memphis ReStore is proudly owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis, and every purchase at the Memphis ReStore helps local families build strength, stability and self-reliance through decent, affordable shelter.
-you can drop off your new or gently-used furniture, home goods and construction materials at our Donation Center between 10am and 5pm, Monday through Saturday.

The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

-As the only open-admission animal shelter in the city of Memphis, we never turn away a pet because it’s sick, injured, old, or scared. We care for over 8,000 pets each year, and your support helps us provide care above and beyond what our city budget allows.

Junior League Repeat Boutique
A resale shop operated by the Junior League of Memphis. The store sells gently used clothing, shoes and accessories for all ages; home furnishings; housewares; and children’s items. Junior League of Memphis members donate most of the items sold at the store and we accept donations from the general public.
